Mass was celebrated by Fr. Jimmy, Chaplin at Malta University as Thanks Giving for the Scholastic Year which has come
to an end.
Mr. Lino Zahra, Director of Mechanical Institute made the Welcome Address. Amongst other items, Mr Zahra said that he
was very please with the standard the students has reached though the Collge is in his very first year in this particular
subject.
Mr. Roy Snelling also had his words of praise towards this subject. He also said that such projects offer challenge
to the students with good results for all.
Dr Louis Galea Minister for Education also talked about the progress and the future of MCAST and expressed his feeling
for such a great deed by the students towards people with special needs. He also handed the Ignition Key to Joseph Micallef
(32 years). Joseph is the one to drive the car though he suffers total sight disablement. The Car, built to Assocjazzjoni
Sport Muturi (ASM) Autocross Regulations, will be driven by Joseph at the ASM Racetracks at Ta' Qali. ASM has offered permission
to Joseph and other members of Magic Moments to drive the car at the ASM premises at Ta' Qali.
